Today we celebrate the 250th Birthday of our nation. Let us come together in prayer:
Lord of all nations, We thank You for the gifts You have given this land—its beauty, its freedoms, and the many people who work for the common good.
Yet we come with confession. As a nation we have trusted in our own strength, ignored injustice, and failed to love our neighbors as You command. Forgive us. Turn our hearts toward Your righteousness.
Renew our leaders with wisdom, our communities with compassion, and our people with a desire for justice and mercy. Anchor our hope not in ourselves, but in Jesus Christ, who reigns over every nation.
By Your grace, make this country a place where truth is honored, the vulnerable are protected, and Your glory is seen.
In Christ’s name, Amen.
